For how long can I rent the apartment?

For most of the year you need to rent at least for 1 month. But on high season (during the winter) you are required to rent it at least 2 months.

How much is it?

$1500 usd. per month. It includes rent, water and internet. You still need to pay for power.

Do I rent through Airbnb?

Nope, you will be dealing directly with me (the owner). To make everything safe and without any no surprise, we’ll do a contract just like any other long term apartment in the US.

Can I live in Tulum without speaking Spanish?

Definitely. They speak english everywhere.

Do I need a car to live in Tulum?

No, it would be helpful but not necessary. You can get by with a bicycle or renting a scooter.

Is the apartment safe?

Yes, the apartment is safe. There is 24/7 security, and the area is known to be secure, with many expats living nearby.

Is it furnished?

Yeah, its fully furnished with towels, bedsheets etc. You will be all set to live there from day 1.

Is there reliable Wi-Fi for remote work?

Yes, the apartment has 500 Mbps fiber optic internet, making it ideal for Zoom calls, streaming, and remote work. I’ve been working remotely from here for 1.5 years, and it’s been reliable for the most part. However, keep in mind that Tulum is still developing, so occasional power and internet outages can happen. There are multiple co-working spaces close by with Starlink if there is a long outrage.

Are there restaurants and shops nearby?

The apartment is located in the trendy La Veleta neighborhood, walking distance to coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, gyms, and Holistica yoga center.

The apartment is just a 10-minute drive from the beach and easily accessible by car, bike, or scooter.

Is there parking available?

Yes, there is free parking available for guests.

Does the apartment have a private rooftop?

Yes, there is a private rooftop with a jacuzzi, offering amazing sunset views of the jungle—ideal for morning yoga or relaxation.

How many people can the apartment accommodate?

The apartment has 2 bedrooms so it can comfortably accommodate up to 2 guests.

Is there laundry in the apartment?

Yes, the apartment includes an in-unit washer and dryer for your convenience.

Are pets allowed?

Sorry, no pets allowed. Other condo owners have complained about pet noice.
